Circuit
Back training after a period of intermittent illness caused by seasonal and varied commitments.
I managed to run just the last two weeks, but the few workouts I've done, mainly on the treadmill workout and have a lot of quality. Having little time available, I'm preferring the "short but very very intense" - change of pace with changes in gradient pyramid (fartlek, pace discontinuous), progressive etc..
look for the light and the summer to return once again to gallop wild and free in the open air, but for now the "mortgage" should be just fine, considering that I do aerobic endurance activities varied throughout the week. Yesterday I was running at
, having raced only on Tuesdays, I wanted to make my next sessions of the most aerobic cross training as possible, so in addition to the 3x10 that I mentioned in my previous post, yesterday I had a mega circuit PHA.
I quote, every two years alternating series of upper and lower, 1:30 minutes of jump rope, high-intensity .... so to the end. In some moments I felt drawn to run a fartlek or repeated from 1000 to 3:20 so the pulse rate was high, and this the fact that I went from station to station without stopping.
excellent combination of cardiovascular endurance, strength and speed. I finished the circuit in 35 minutes.
Subsequently, the heavy bag, I trained in various combinations of punches and kicks from guard position, taking care of the speed of the footwork and lateral shifts. Again, a thousand during the pulse sequences of kicks and side slipping back by alternate sequences of hand slower (rhythm discontinuous). A TOTAL
close this workout, stretching in general fluency.
